Trellis

Bring your plan

Start from the plan you already have.

Your strategy already exists, in a deck, a document or a spreadsheet. Trellis reads it, lays it out as a working plan, and shows you what the method says is missing, before anything lands. Import opens in the test drive once our data terms are published; until then, test drives start from the sample company.

The problem

Retyping a plan into a new tool is where adoption dies.

A leadership team will not re-enter forty objectives and two hundred milestones to try a piece of software. So the plan stays in the slides, and the slides go stale.

How Trellis handles it

Read, review, then commit.

  1. 01

    The formats you already use

PowerPoint, Word and Excel (current formats), PDF, plain text and images. Up to five files at a time, 25MB each.
  2. 02

    A draft, never a surprise

The material is read into a draft plan. Nothing touches your plan until a person has reviewed each row and committed it.
  3. 03

    Gaps land flagged, not refused

An objective or initiative whose owner cannot be matched still comes in, marked as a gap that stays raised until someone is named.
  4. 04

    Run it again safely

Import the next version of the deck and Trellis links to what is already there instead of copying it. Rows you left out stay left out.

What you see

Each row, with what the method thinks of it.

  • Metric · Mid-market ARR, $1.8M to $3.5Mbaseline and target

Why it matters

You see your own plan in Trellis the same day.

The honest test of a strategy tool is your plan, not a demo company. Import makes that test cheap, and the gaps it flags are usually the first useful conversation.

The rule behind it

Your data, read by an AI model, with your consent each time.

Import uses an AI model, Anthropic’s Claude, to read the material. Each upload asks for your consent first, and you choose whether Trellis keeps a private copy of the files for a later re-read. The model reads; a person decides what lands.

Customer data will be handled under our Data Processing Addendum, which is being finalized now.
