| Company | What it does for Trellis | What of yours reaches it | Where |

| Neon | The database | Everything recorded in a workspace, and members' names and email addresses; website form submissions (in a separate database) | United States (AWS us-east-2, Ohio) |
| Clerk | Sign-in and organization membership | Your name, email address, sign-in details, and which workspaces you belong to | United States (Google Cloud and Cloudflare). Clerk's terms allow processing wherever its providers operate |
| Resend | Email delivery | Each recipient's name and address, and the text of each reminder, digest, mention and form confirmation email | United States |
| Anthropic | Reads imported documents and drafts summaries and updates | The full content of documents a user chooses to import, after confirming; facts drawn from the plan for drafts, including titles, owner names, figures, risk and escalation descriptions and review notes, unless an admin turns AI drafting off | United States (stored and processed) |
When payments open: Stripe, for billing. It receives billing contacts and payment details; Trellis never receives card numbers.
Not subprocessors, but worth knowing: phone notifications travel through your device maker's push service (Apple, Google or Mozilla). Trellis encrypts each message to your device before it leaves, so those services cannot read it.
